Hilary Reed

Studied graphics and illustration at cambridge college of arts & technology. After leaving college worked for Publishing Resources Ltd. as an artworker on specialist recruitment brochures progressing to senior artworker / studio manager.

Moved on to work for a magazine publisher in a bigger studio on some national music magazine titles. This involved picture editing and photoshop work along side artworking / layout in a fast paced environment.

After a number of years moved to a part time design position in the marketing department for The National Extension College working on a wide range of projects for the distance learning sector. Working part time enabled me to build up my own freelance clients.

Left National Extension College to pursue full time freelance work and am currently working as a freelance designer and creative artworker, often working in-house for agencies.

QuarkXpress, Creative Suite 4 (including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)

Experienced in:
working on projects from concept to finished job, meeting deadlines and working to budget. A good knowledge of design for print and preparation of files for web.

Gavin Mills

Started career as a Multimedia Production Assistant specialising in the creation of CD Roms and websites, working for clients such as Heinemann Publishing, Channel 4 and BBC.

Moved on to work in a busy Cambridge school as general IT support and website administrator, Which taught above all the importance of meeting deadlines.

Now working as a freelance web programmer, based in Estonia, but using the power of the internet to meet the needs of clients across the globe.

Has particular interest in UI design and site usability. Building sites and advanced web applications using Object Oriented PHP and jQuery.

Currently working on Eesti Life - a site aimed at residents of Estonia with English as their first language.

Loves blue cheese.
